Luxury and design strategist and fractional CMO,

For values-driven brands and non-profit organizations

Molly McDermott Walsh is a changemaker and thoughtful risk-taker

Motivated to make a difference in the world, helping good people do good things. With a focus on what she calls “the 4Ps” (people, purpose product and profit), Molly aims for alignment and impact, guiding companies through change while owning, tracking and implementing process and accountability. She thrives when partnering with founders, leaders and executives to uncover their goals and aspirations and make them a reality.

Molly is the founder of Three Lines Consulting - a creative consultancy that focuses on building, scaling and modernizing customer touchpoints for heritage brands. With nearly twenty years in the luxury and design sectors, building brands such as Farrow & Ball, Pantone and Zenith Swiss Watch/LVMH, Molly brings clients a fresh perspective, proven results and her curated network of specialists. She empowers companies to achieve their full potential by identifying new opportunities and providing strategic support through moments of change.

Throughout her career, Molly has created brand partnerships valued at over $10 million, relaunched DTC brands and websites with 187% increase in sales, driven media impressions by 400% and negotiated several notable brand partnerships, including Instagram, Jason Wu and Minions/NBCUniversal for Pantone and Peter Shire, Roman & Williams, & goop for Farrow & Ball. She is known for intuitively seeing new opportunities for growth and for saying what others are afraid to, all in the name of change, modernization and company success.

“I originally went out on my own to work with smaller companies and who could use my impactful combination of marketing strategy and operational processes to scale. A nice surprise has been working with several non-profit organizations to bring the same multifaceted suite of skills to now directly impact their mission. Partnering with founders and lean teams to increase awareness of their mission and good work, while building out strategies for partnerships with companies, HNWI and foundations, has had a direct impact on their growth and ability to serve more people. To say it is satisfying would be the biggest understatement of my career.”

Molly embraces creativity and heritage throughout her everyday life. A granddaughter of Irish immigrants, devoted mother, sister, daughter, friend, wife and aunt, Molly loves design, museums and feminist literature. Bringing together the old with the new, Molly and her husband made their dream a reality restoring their 130+ year old Colonial home, room by room, layering in beloved design brands with inherited furniture and antiques. Molly is active in many community organizations, but is happiest when hiking with her husband, daughter and their Belgian Malinois, Augustus, doing hot yoga, or on yet another traveling adventure to a remote fishing village.
